Our History
Anna Maria was founded in 1964 by Robert and Loretta Norton as a small nursing home with the philosophy of “a sincere belief in the worth and dignity of every human life”.
Over 60 years later the family tradition of caring and quality services continues under the direction of their two sons, Robert and George, who have owned and operated Anna Maria since 1982. Since their involvement, a full continuum of care is available on what is now called The Campus of Anna Maria, located on 70+ scenic acres in Aurora, Ohio. Today, third generation family members Chris Norton and Aaron Baker are Administrators and Owners.
